Yin Yoga Session, Nov. 29
For the second time this November, the Yin Yoga Retreat will once again offer a full three hours of deep relaxation and meditation in the fascinating poses of Yin Yoga. After an introductory Pranayama (breathing exercise), we’ll delve into the depths of our connective tissues and fascia, releasing blockages and unresolved issues. The focus of this fall session will be the heart. Love. The heart and lung meridians, the chest, the upper half of the body, our—sometimes hunched—backs, and the cervical spine. We’ll hold the relaxation poses for longer than in regular classes, giving us plenty of time and space to explore ourselves. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, November is associated with the lungs; during this season, we can strengthen them by avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations, cooling foods, and unresolved emotions such as sadness and melancholy. In this class, we’ll discover how to find the harmony that’s ideal for each of us. At the end, accompanied by relaxing music and a gentle aromatherapy neck massage, deeply buried emotions may be released, so let’s not hold back the occasional tear ♡. I’m really looking forward to seeing you there,
What our events look like.
