Deep movement experience

I fell in love with yoga in 2017 in the USA. Since childhood, I had competed in various sports, and yoga showed me a new, refreshing path. With yoga, I didn't have to compare myself to others or constantly compete. At the same time, yoga helped me feel better in my body, which had become tight and unevenly strained from other activities. In 2022, I completed my Yoga Alliance 200H Teacher Training with Piper Parker, specializing in Vinyasa Yoga. My classes are playful, focusing on body strengthening and mobility. I love connecting movement and breath, and my goal is for this connection to help you fully immerse your mind during the class.

When I lived in Singapore, I enrolled in a yoga studio where I could draw inspiration from teachers from London, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, Singapore, and especially from Rishikesh in India. Thanks to these amazing teachers, I was at the studio every day. This showed me that yoga is also a wonderful tool to start listening to your body, to calm your mind and breath. All of this led me to complete my first Hatha & Vinyasa Teacher Training in Singapore, and yoga became an integral part of my daily life. I enjoy exploring movement and various yoga styles, discovering new and modern approaches to yoga, and combining yoga with other elements to create a holistic and meaningful practice. I then share all of this in my classes. I look forward to seeing you every Tuesday at 6:30 PM for my Movement Flow class.

I believe that yoga is truly for everyone and can fundamentally change a person's life. In my classes, I create a safe space for all who are ready to better understand themselves and learn to perceive their body and mind more deeply. I will help you get out of your head and back into your body, so you can experience deep inner peace and leave our session feeling lighter and more content overall. I am a certified yoga instructor, a guide for sound baths, and an FRC mobility specialist. My classes are inspired by classical Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga, but they also include elements of FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) and animal movement. My classes are enriched with various functional exercises that care for body mobility, and sometimes also with the sounds of different therapeutic musical instruments, as sound healing is another great passion of mine. All my classes/events are suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners. My aunt introduced me to yoga when I was fifteen, and since then, it has gradually become a natural part of my life. From childhood, I was involved in dance – first ballet, then street dance – and perhaps it is in yoga that I find a similar poetry of movement, an energy expressed through the body. Yoga has become a daily tool for me to direct energy where balance needs to be restored. My intention in yoga practices is to create a space for bridging the gap between a scattered, fast-paced mind and a calm, present body. A space where breath connects with movement, and thoughts can settle for a while. I am dynamic by nature, and this is naturally reflected in my Vinyasa classes – they are flowing, lively, yet grounding.

My name is Baci, and we will meet together in YOGA & ESSENCE classes. For eight years, I actively played basketball, which gave me a love for music, a love for movement, and also shortened muscles. I know very well from my own experience how difficult beginnings can be, but it's important to start, to start with something that you will enjoy and find fulfilling.

Defne is a yoga teacher, originally from Izmir, the southern west city of Turkey — who came to Prague for her studies, later on staying in Prague to call the vibrant city her home. She started movement at the age of 4 with ballet and gymnastics, later finding her passion in fencing — a competitive and intense sport. But after her very first yoga class she was hooked. It helped her counterbalance to constant pressure to win, and to slow down, and reconnect with herself. What started as physical practice became her anchor, leading her to complete her 500 hours teacher training and step onto the mat to share what she's learned. Her classes are dynamic, playful, and Rocket-inspired — expect to sweat, laugh, and explore with curiosity while building strength and grounding. You'll leave challenged yet clear-headed. Outside the studio, Defne’s a tech product manager, building digital products that make a difference. She spends most of her free time with her husband and her daughter, Lara— who keeps her present and endlessly curious every day.

Hi, my name is Johana, and you can find me at the studio teaching Total Body Yoga Flow classes. A few years ago, yoga helped me find balance in my life, and it has been my greatest teacher ever since. I love sharing its beauty and depth with you and continuing to discover it together with you. Yoga takes countless forms and can offer each of us exactly what we need at any given moment. In my classes, we combine dynamism with ease, incorporating elements of Vinyasa, Rocket, and Yin, and seek a balance between strength and gentleness.

Hi, my name is Julie, and I’ve been doing ballet since I was four. As I grew up, Pilates became an indispensable part of my life. In addition to the physical benefits, it provides a space where I can relax mentally. What I love most about Pilates is the connection between conscious movement, breath, and concentration. All the exercises help strengthen the body’s deep stabilizing system and also improve flexibility, strength, coordination, and balance. In my classes, I love using props that help deepen individual movements and engage the muscles even more effectively. I look forward to seeing you on the mat.

I got into yoga almost 10 years ago because of the photogenic poses on Instagram, but I soon discovered it was about much more. I became completely immersed in the practice, and since spring 2022, I've been sharing my passion and knowledge. On the mat, I combine a slow but powerful Vinyasa enriched with playful inversions, calming meditations, and thematic playlists. My classes are open to everyone—whether you speak Czech or English, are new to yoga, or can do handstands in your sleep. I believe that with the right approach and mindful movement, there's no need to categorize yourself as a beginner or advanced. I look forward to seeing you on the mat, where together we will try to get closer to our most authentic selves.

Coach, yoga instructor, travelling & food lover and a person who enjoys life. Movement has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, but I only discovered the magic of yoga a few years ago and fell in love with it immediately. It helps me be myself, feel gratitude, live in the present moment and calm my mind. In my classes I combine dynamic movement with mindful breath, music and meditation. There are also standing poses and other challenges. It's about trusting yourself that you can do more than you think.

For me, yoga is a return to myself. It’s about being mindful of my body, breath, and thoughts—a way to ground myself and be more present. Yoga isn’t just about asanas; we practice it off the mat in our daily lives as well. My classes are about connecting with the breath and finding a sense of lightness. The flows focus on mental concentration, core stability, coordination, and flexibility through strong postures. What matters most to me is creating a safe space with good music where we can flow together.

I am Lia, my path to yoga was not love at first sight. I have been practicing for 7 years and have gradually progressed from a physical practice to a more spiritual path. Vinyasa, mantra, and meditation are part of my regular practice, along with the study of philosophy. I love teaching, guiding, and helping people feel better about themselves, return from their heads to their hearts, and rediscover their potential and true selves.

I am grateful that I had the opportunity to be introduced to yoga from childhood, thanks to my mother. Yoga has always been a part of my life, just in different forms. I tried many different styles and types of yoga until I came across Jivamukti, which captivated me with its complexity and structure. I strive to integrate experiences from other fields—such as dance, art, foreign language study, pedagogy, and Indology—into my practice. In yoga, community and being together are important principles for me. I strive to inspire through my presence both on and off the mat. My intention is to help everyone find different paths toward a shared goal—the state of yoga.

My name is Markéta Sulejmani, and yoga has been my passion and life's journey for over 20 years. In my classes, I combine traditional yoga, breathing exercises, conscious movement, and working with the body in the present moment. I completed instructor courses at the Czech Academy of Yoga and FTVS UK, further studied yoga therapy, and am currently dedicated to studying Spiraldynamik®, a unique concept focused on anatomically correct movement. My goal is to help you discover the joy of movement, harmony of body and mind, and create a space where you can feel good. I look forward to our time together on the mat.

Yoga has been a part of me for almost a decade; it's not work or a necessity, it's simply my pure joy. Since 2016, I have been a certified Hatha yoga and Yin yoga instructor, and I want to humbly share both these styles with love. In my life, Hatha yoga means strength and endurance, while Yin yoga teaches me patience, gentleness, and releases tension and stress from both body and mind. I very much look forward to seeing you at my workshops.''

For me, yoga is a way to find my path to myself, to get to know myself, and to take care of myself. It's a lifestyle that is slowly becoming part of every aspect of my being, shaping and transforming my view of the world. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity to pass on the magic of yoga, as I perceive that it makes us better. I was fortunate to discover it very early in life, and it helped me better face the challenging pitfalls of adolescence and continuously helps me grow. Yoga is full of contradictions – it can bring peace into our lives, but also new challenges, and it shows us that these two things are not mutually exclusive. Although it has been a part of my life for several years, there is always something new to learn, always something to improve, but the most important thing yoga always reminds me of is gratitude for where we are on our journey right now.

My love for movement has been a part of me since childhood in all possible forms – whether it's dance, which I competed in for many years, running, tennis, surfing, or yoga. However, yoga captivated me later in life, during a period when I felt completely lost. I dare say I'm not exaggerating when I sometimes claim it somewhat saved me. It provided a safe space where I stopped being afraid to face myself – my mind and the thoughts within it. Yoga practice moved me forward both physically and mentally – it taught me to slow down, focus on myself, and not compare myself to others. It also helped me realize how important it is sometimes just to be.

I discovered yoga around 2012, and it was love at first sight. It entered my life and never left. For me, it's a continuous journey, a way to be a better person not only for myself but also for those around me, and especially for my daughter. It teaches me inner peace, patience, discipline, and as I always say, with my yoga practice, I am a much kinder person. It has supported me physically and mentally through all the more challenging periods of my life, during rehabilitation after an injury, during pregnancy, and after childbirth. Whenever I step onto the mat, it's like returning to myself. That's why in my classes, I strive to create a safe space where you can relax and truly just be and flow. And it doesn't matter if you're an athlete, a yogi, a stay-at-home mom, or a busy manager. Through dynamic Vinyasa, I found my way to Ashtanga yoga, which remains my primary practice. However, I also enjoy teaching creative dynamic Vinyasa, so you can encounter that in my classes at Yoga Movement or in private lessons.

My name is Šárka, and I am not only a yogi but also a stylist. For me, yoga is a path to self-care, but also an opportunity to meet interesting people. I enjoy its variability and the ability to experience a different practice each day, as my body desires. Yoga has been in my life for many years. It helps me not only calm my mind on hectic days but also has a positive effect on my entire physical body. I found my way to it over 10 years ago, but my practice was quite irregular. Nevertheless, each time I felt that it was good for my body, and after a yoga class, I simply felt better. I wish to pass this feeling on. I enjoy leading classes in a pleasant flow, transitioning from one pose to the next on the wave of breath, both at a slower and a more dynamic pace. My goal is for you to leave the class with a pleasant feeling in both body and soul.

Yoga is a significant part of my life. Its philosophy is a huge inspiration for my personal growth and approach to everyday life. Dance accompanied me for a long time, and perhaps that's why I enjoy fluid flow classes in yoga, whether at a dynamic or calmer pace, as well as the variability, playfulness, and complexity of all body movements, including (and especially) the connection to our inner energy and breath. I always approach teaching yoga with respect and strive to continuously educate myself and progress, whether through personal practice or further courses and workshops. When teaching yoga, authenticity is important to me – to conscientiously share knowledge, principles, and words that I personally believe in and consider functional and helpful, along with the energy that emanates from the practice. Given my original background in healthcare (pharmacy), beyond yoga, I am also interested in areas related to health prevention, biohacking, and I enjoy exploring other alternative therapies. I enjoy connecting these areas with yoga to bring a multi-faceted perspective to these topics.

Yoga has resonated with me for over ten years, consistently bringing calm and presence into my life. It is an endless journey of discovery, love, patience, and compassion towards myself and others. I continue to deepen my relationship with yoga – for example, through instructor courses in both the Czech Republic and India. Teacher Vijith Pavi also helps me improve my own practice, and I regularly return to Kerala to study with him. In my classes, I would love to help you tune into the present moment, synchronizing movement and breath so that you leave the studio with a big smile.

I discovered the magic of yoga 17 years ago in London and immediately fell in love with it. For me, yoga is one of the best tools for improving the quality of life and understanding it. It is a friend in difficult times, but also the greatest supporter and creator of our dreams. Yoga brought surfing into my life, travel to the most beautiful corners of the world, and most importantly, contentment and the discovery of my life's mission. For the past few years, I have been working with private clients – mainly athletes or yoga teachers. But also with mothers and, in fact, with anyone who wants to be fit – physically and mentally – and discover the secrets of yoga. Last but not least, I work with people in offices, teaching office yoga directly in their companies. Half the year, I lead classes on the ocean shore, where I organize surf-yoga retreats. However, when I am in Prague, you can find me at the Yoga Movement studio, where I lead Roxy Surf Yoga every Wednesday, and it also serves as my base for all private lessons.
