Fall into Backbend — backbends, breath & palo santo


I invite you to a special extended lesson where you will rekindle your inner fire.
Autumn often invites us indoors — into calmness, into ourselves, sometimes too much. We may feel heaviness, fatigue, slower breathing. And it is precisely for these moments that there are positions that stir new energy within us — backbends.
Sometimes we consciously resist them in class, feeling that with an open heart we are too vulnerable, or that they are too intense for us. During our joint practice, we will allow ourselves enough time for the body to prepare and warm up so that the final positions are an enjoyable experience. I will give you tips on how to do them in the best possible way, taking into account the limits of your body—we will use aids, try different variations, and explore the range of motion.
The entire practice will be permeated with the scent of palo santo, sacred wood that symbolizes purification and new beginnings. It will create the ideal atmosphere for moments that will belong only to you and your practice.
As a gift, you will take home your own piece of palo santo—as a reminder that the light you have awakened is still within you.
