The Art of Regulation: working with stress and the nervous system

Practical tools for somatic regulation, a brief theory of the nervous system, and guided yoga nidra for deep relaxation.
If you feel like you are constantly on the go and tense, your mind is constantly racing, and your body cannot truly relax even when you are resting, it may be time to learn more about your nervous system. Stress manifests itself not only mentally, but also through fatigue, irritability, and tension in the body.
What the workshop is about
The Art of Regulation workshop focuses on understanding how the nervous system works and how to work with it in everyday life. Today, stress is not just a matter of the psyche, but primarily a physiological response of the body that can be influenced by specific tools.
What to expect
Over the course of two hours, we will go through practical techniques for somatic relaxation, gentle regulation practices, and simple principles of stress management. The workshop will also include a brief and understandable theory that will help you better understand what happens in the body during stress, how to recognize overload, and when it is appropriate to actively support regulation.
How to proceed
The emphasis will be on techniques that are easily transferable to everyday life – at home, at work, and in moments when there is no space for long practice. We will end the workshop with guided yoga nidra, which will allow for deep calm and integration of the entire process.
Who is the workshop intended for?
The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience with yoga or somatic work.
